Episode 14: I Gotta Get My Fists Ready

This week the ladies put together a list of what they consider to be the Badland Girls canon. They also learn their hanky code, give a few shout-outs, and squirm squirm squirm! Fuck count: 86

Spoiler alerts for the following:
Total Recall
True Romance
Hausu
Return of the Living Dead
Badlands
Liquid Sky
Natural Born Killers

Corrections: The Milos Foreman film Destiny was thinking of is called The Fireman's Ball. The other Czech New Wave movie she was thinking of is called Closely Watched Trains and it was directed by Jiri Menzel. The wife in Total Recall is named Lori and was portrayed in the 1990 movie by Sharon Stone. Something Weird is a dvd/vhs distributor and not just an On Demand channel (we knew that, but didn't make it clear in the podcast.) We looked into it and don't think Jan Švankmajer was considered a part of the Czech New Wave. Daisies was directed by Vera Chytilova and came out in 1966.

AI: Artificial Intelligence
X-Files: Fight the Future

Corrections: The actress who played the mother on Betwitched and also did the Twilight Zone was named Agnes Moorehead. The new Beauty and the Beast movie featuring Emma Watson is going to be directed by Guillermo del Toro. The protagonist on UFO was named Straker. The film version of The Time Machine that Rhea likes best came out in 1960.

Episode 12: He's So Adjective, Noun!

This week's theme: DAVID LYNCH! We also discuss weird movies in general, drag queens, and a mystery gif. This week's fuck count: 64.

Spoilers for the following films:
Twin Peaks (everything but who killed Laura)
Eraserhead
Mulholland Drive
Blue Velvet
Wild at Heart
Paris is Burning
The Elephant Man
Lost Highway
Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me
The Undertaker and His Pals
Inland Empire

Corrections: The definition of homosocial is "of or relating to social interaction between members of the same sex, typically men." The photo source search engine is called TinEye. The Dana Carvey special that the "judicial system" quote comes from is called Critic's Choice. Destiny accidentally said "Chad Morgan" when she actually meant Chad Michaels. Also disregard that thing she said about the book version of Wild At Heart
