  1. NERD NOTE - Hickman's AVENGERS: Cannonball (Sam Guthrie) and Sunspot (Roberto DaCosta) are the "X-Men" added to the Avengers roster. Only Cannonball has actually been part of the official X-Men line-up but the both of them came up together as the first team of New Mutants introduced in the 80's which later became the first team to be called X-Force. Hickman's been a fan of them forever and some of his first work for Marvel included a very silly series of short stories where Sam and Roberto were trapped in the media-driven Mojoworld and were forced to make a bunch of crappy movie remakes and it has lots of great parodies and references and things.

Re: Zoe Bell - Apparently there is a longer cut of the film and she and other characters in her group had bigger parts that were cut but supposedly the extended cut may be put out at some point? Hard to say, since we're still waiting for Quentin to release the Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair mastercut.

Also, Tracie Thoms being known for 'Rent' is fine and all but C'MON, 'WONDERFALLS' ALL THE WAY, LADIES. That and the impeccable spelling of her first name.

Aaaand I feel extremely shamed that I have not seen Death Proof. :(
